Marcella has been teaching and Directing for over 30years.
She has dedicated a good deal of her time to working with communities of color and under-resourced communities. She also is known as an exceptional
Shakespeare teacher and director.
She works with teens, university students, community members, pre-
professionals and adult professionals. She offers professional development
trainings for both the public and private sectors.
She has directed many generative works as well as professional Shakespeare
productions.
She has been an artist in residence at Wesleyan University and the University of Jaffna, as well as guest lecturer at the University of Kelaniya and Middlesex Community College.
